Raven Tower was built in the 1970s as a metal fabrication shop with the ultimate of "bachelor pads" high above it. We've turned the property into a music venue and neighborhood bar.
The Raven Tower features a 3,000-square-foot patio, 1,800-square-foot bar, covered 3,000-square foot pavilion for live music, exclusive, high-end, private, 700-square-foot tower perched 5-stories above the bar and a rooftop deck with 360 degree views of the downtown Houston skyline.
Located just down the street from White Oak Music Hall, the Raven Tower sits along the banks of Little White Oak Bayou and hosts weekly live music acts in a covered pavilion and smaller outdoor patio stage, features 24-tap bar, rotating food trucks, flat screen TVs, a plethora of picnic tables, corn hole and horse shoe area.
SideOut VolleyBar is W2’s newest development project and Houston's most unique beach volleyball courts and full-service sports bar. Conveniently located one exit north of Downtown Houston and just west of the Heights, it’s a breeze to get to. SideOut sits on the banks of Little White Oak Bayou, directly across from White Oak Music Hall and The Raven Tower.SideOut features three full-size sand volleyball courts that caters to tournaments, leagues, open play and private events. In addition to the beach volleyball courts, get served at the indoor, full-service bar, complete with frozen drinks, full liquor bar, Houston's largest selection of canned beers and another 18 on draft. The bar and indoor portion of SideOut is housed inside a fully restored 1920’s bungalow. The bungalow was moved from its original Richmond Ave location, near Kirby Drive, in the mid 1980’s by the previous property owners. In lieu of demolishing this charming, but severely dilapidated bungalow, W2 took the opportunity to recycle, reuse and restore and this small part of Houston's history. SideOut Volleybar is open 7 days a week.
